This is a fantastic waterpark in the middle of nowhere of Tennessee. I have seen water parks like this all over the country. But no water park can be as picturesque as Kingsport with a Mountain backdrop. I would have rated this a 5-star aquatic Center, however, we were greeted in appropriately by a female named Olivia. I’m not sure exactly what her problem was, but she seem to of had an attitude towards my sister. For context, my sister lives in Kingsport and she has never seen or met this woman outside of the aquatic center. Also, lifeguards could’ve done a little better job, paying attention to children inside the kid pool. But for the most part, Olivia and her attitude was the big issue here. When I asked for her name, I interviewed a couple of the employees about her, most of them quickly expressed that they did not care working with her.

This used to be my favorite place growing up. But not so much anymore. Me and my boyfriend decided to go in today, the prices are a little high, but I guess that happens with inflation. 12 dollars per person. Good service, great clean pools. Fantastic place overall. However when we went today, we asked for a locker key, per usual, and they apparently only give them to the members now. So basically if you aren’t a member you have to pay extra to keep your stuff safe. Honestly annoying. But yeah, only 3 stars until this whole locker thing is dealt with..

I can't believe I didn't check this place out sooner! It's fun for all ages! Saltwater pools, watersides, kiddie pool and play area. The BEST LAZY RIVER I have ever been in. And it's not LAZY! Lol. One pool has an area with jets and a seat around with them. All the pools are very comfortable temperature. They have lots of chairs and some umbrellas for shade. They have indoor pools as well. One of them is a warm therapeutic pool. Another's got diving boards including a HIGH DIVE! 13 feet deep! All are sparking clean! GREAT place to spend the day. Opens at 11am.

My son is 4 and he had a great time playing in the splash area. The lazy river was definitely fun for the whole family! However.... My daughter is 7 and a confident swimmer. She wanted to do the obstacle course and was told she'd have to do a swim test. She did the swim test no problem and was given a wrist band. Then she got back in line for the obstacle course and was told she wasn't tall enough to do the course. She was devastated. There is no reason to put a child through a test and then not let them participate after they pass. Additionally she was turned away from all the water slides again because of her height, but then had to watch as kids shorter than her were allowed to ride repeatedly. If a height requirement is going to be strictly enforced it should be enforced equally. It is hard enough to explain to a 7 year old (who has done bigger slides at other parks) that she can't ride because she is too short, but how do you explain such unequal treatment? The facility has such potential that it would be a wonderful spot if some additional training was given to the staff about handling kids and the requirements.

If I could give zero believe me I would! My family was swimming today and my sisters husband lost his wedding band. They were kind enough to let us search for it after the pool had closed but that’s about the nicest thing that happened. While searching the pool and filters we discoverable a fermented dead rabbit. We asked for management due to the fact the staff said the filters aren’t checked that often if ever. Of course we are disgusted! We had been swimming with a dead animal all day!! Once management came over they said the staff wasn’t trained to answer that question and that was in fact not true and was super rude while telling us so. They couldn’t give an answer as to when the last time it was checked though. We asked for a higher member of management, Olivia, at this point we asked for a refund and was told no and that they couldn’t do that. We pushed the issue that my sisters child had been swimming with this dead animal all day! How disgusting!!!!!! Olivia then states the only was she can give a refund is with a receipt that they just so inconveniently do not give if you pay cash. We even had the wrist bands to prove we obviously paid to get in or wouldn’t have been able to enter. Once we proved the point we were then told we still wouldn’t be getting a refund and that they would call Kingsport Police to escort us off the property. We then again asked for someone higher up to talk to because again we get another rude employee threatening us when we were the ones swimming with a DEAD animal!!!!!!!! We are astounded at the way they treat the situation and definitely will NOT EVER be back. If I wanted to swim with dead animals I’d go to the lake.

The facilities are really nice but it’s very frustrating to have a monthly membership. I wouldn’t recommend buying one. The majority of the outdoor facility is closed during the week in august. The one outdoor pool that is supposed to be open in august is sporadically open but members are not given any notice to when or not it may be closed. You may show up with your kids ready to swim and be told that they’re not opening it today. The toddler time that they have during the week costs an additional dollar amount even for members. They seem to be understaffed and poorly managed.

We went yesterday for the first time. It's a small park but we had a great time. My only couple negatives as follows. While at the kiddie area, there's one smaller slide (dual slide so two can actually go down beside each other) and my son has autism and I asked the life guard if I could go down, I was further away and I didn't go into detail and tell her the reason but it was because my son has autism and he was scared so I wanted to show him it isn't scary. Fast forward an hour later and a lady is taking her child down the slide to show her it's okay and no one said anything about this but when I asked I was told no. This lady may have been 120lbs and I'm around 140. This being said, I don't think the weight was the issue. My son was a little older then her little one but that's beside the point really. My son did end up going down the slide eventually without me so I'm not too upset about this. We also made a trip to the concession stand 3x and had to ask the lady for part of our order twice. The first time she forgot our drink with the combo (not a big deal) and the 2nd time it was sauce for nuggets. I also didn't know the cost of nuggets and a drink alone would be the same cost as the combo but I will say that the food cost is actually reasonable and that time she almost forgot the drink again but she remembered. Maybe she was new but she was certainly polite and friendly so that's a thumbs up. I think most everyone here was really friendly but a few of the younger life guards appeared meh. The chicken salad sandwich is really good, better then my son's nuggets I tried a bite of. Those were already prepared too so seems like all the food comes already prepared. Also a wait for the restroom and the indoor pool was closed but most of the above complaints are minor annoyances. It would be nice to see an expansion here. While my son played at the kiddie pool I was able to lounge on the chairs while watching him and there was plenty of seating and a lot of shade. I was pleasantly surprised they don't charge for lockers or floatation devices. There isn't much for adults to enjoy besides the lazy river (love), a regular outdoor pool and they have two larger slides but it appears the green one seems to be a favorite amongst the kids I saw. For the cost it was definitely worth it.. We stayed hours and my son didn't want to leave. I felt like he'd get bored easily because there's honestly not much at the kiddie area besides one dual water slide and some sprinklers and a splash gun that didn't work well. There's also a splash bucket and he liked the water being splashed on his head lol. I would definitely love to see an expansion in the kids area because there was sooo many kids there and they were just really packed waiting to go down the little slide. We had a small water park when I was little but the kiddie area was still a lot bigger. They had a lot more slides to enjoy in the kiddie section. This kiddie section is just a bit small for as many kids who were at the park but besides that it's a nice little park and we will return.

The only stars are for the pool and the cleanliness. Staff at the the front desk on the inside were extremely extremely rude to my family and I. I walked in and said we wanted to pay for one day to swim. No one welcomed me or said Hello. I said how are you, I received no response. The outside pool was closed this day. I believe it was due to staffing with school starting back. Which I completely understand, in no way was I upset about that. We asked the person at the front desk about this, and when she replied she sounded annoyed. All we were doing was asking simple questions in no way was I trying to be rude about them I mentioned it was a bummer. We were obviously excited to relax by the pool and it was very off putting to come in contact with someone like this when I usually come here everyone is so nice and welcoming so again it was very off putting and not normal for this Buisness. But the reason I am writing this review is because I felt very unwelcome and I’ve never felt like that before when I step in.
